Provide each unit’s dimensions, weight, centre of gravity, lifting points, photos and drawings; identify components shipped separately.
Review the whole physical route
Check factory exit, loading equipment, transport acceptance and destination access together. One feasible lifting point does not validate the entire journey.
Approve handling instructions
Define packaging, securing, orientation and handling limits before mobilizing equipment. Special cargo remains subject to explicit acceptance.

A clear scope before a price
Preparation and packaging
Separate surveys, drawings, crating and securing from freight. Confirm who supplies materials and approves the final packing design.
Special equipment
Identify lifting, specialist vehicles and loading or unloading equipment at each end; verify their availability before fixing dates.
Changes and contingencies
Confirm standby, rescheduling and route-change treatment. A new dimension or cargo attribute may invalidate the original handling estimate.
Inquiry and assessment only until written acceptance. Refrigeration, hazardous cargo and oversized equipment are not automatically accepted.
Handle changes with the right information
Actual unit differs from drawing
Pause the affected lifting or loading step, remeasure and obtain a revised plan before moving the unit.
Acceptance is conditional
List outstanding packaging, documentation or equipment conditions and obtain written closure before dispatching cargo to the terminal.
Service questions
Can you quote from weight alone?
Weight alone cannot define handling feasibility. Unit dimensions, lifting requirements and both locations are needed for a meaningful review.
Are batteries or dangerous goods automatically accepted?
No. Disclose the actual product and requested safety information first; dispatch requires the relevant carrier acceptance.
Can equipment be dismantled?
Ask the manufacturer to identify safe disassembly, packing and reassembly requirements; compare transport options using those approved specifications.
